Registered Childminder

Requirements for a Registered Childminder:

• The childminder meets the required professional qualifications
• The childminder has completed a certified first aid course for children
• The childminder and all adult household members possess a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)
• A health and safety risk assessment has been carried out
• A health and safety action plan is in place
• There is sufficient space for children to play and sleep, appropriate to their number and age

• The childminder ensures that the group composition is appropriate in terms of the number and ages of the children
• The childminder has a good command of the Dutch language
• The childminder is familiar with the child abuse reporting protocol
• The childminder works in accordance with the pedagogical policy plan
• The childminder has arranged suitable backup care when needed
